A mix of reggae, Afrobeat, electronic soul, pop and R&B will be performed by Mark de Clive-Lowe, featuring Nia Andrews, and Jungle Fire, featuring Afrodyete and Jamie Allensworth. The dancers, Ballet Kouman Kele, Kimberly Miguel Mullen, Kati Hernandez and Nonosina will weave in traditional Haitian, Cuban and Polynesian movement and drums, all in tribute to legendary Cuban performer, Maestro Lazaro Galarraga and Nzingha Camara, one of Los Angeles' matriarchs of dance.
